Aircraft Inspections
Condition Inspections · 100-Hour Inspections · Pre-Buy Evaluations
Thorough, by-the-book inspections performed at your hangar by FAA-certificated LSRM-A repairmen — with a clear, written report of what we find.
Inspections We Perform
Annual Condition Inspection
Required every 12 calendar months for S-LSA and E-LSA. Performed to the manufacturer's checklist and the aircraft's operating limitations, with a logbook endorsement on completion.
100-Hour Inspection
Required for S-LSA used for flight training, rental, or other compensated operations. Same scope as the condition inspection, driven by hours instead of the calendar.
Pre-Buy Evaluation
Buying an LSA? We evaluate the airframe, engine, and — just as important — the logbooks, so you know what you're getting before money changes hands.
What a Condition Inspection Covers
We follow the manufacturer's inspection checklist for your specific aircraft. A typical inspection includes:
Please note: The inspection fee covers inspection labor only. Correcting discrepancies, parts, and consumables are quoted and billed separately — you approve any repair work before we do it.
What You Receive
Logbook Endorsement
A proper condition inspection entry signed by an FAA-certificated repairman.
Written Squawk List
Every discrepancy documented and prioritized: airworthiness items vs. watch items.
Straight Talk
A walk-through of what we found, what it means, and what it will cost to fix.
Inspection Pricing
Condition inspections start at $650 for a simple E-LSA and are tiered by aircraft type and records quality. Pre-buy evaluations run $500–$900 depending on the aircraft and logbooks.
See Full PricingCondition inspections on S-LSA and E-LSA are performed under the privileges of the FAA Light Sport Repairman certificate with Maintenance rating (LSRM-A). Condition inspections on experimental amateur-built aircraft require an A&P or the builder's repairman certificate — if that's your situation, contact us and we'll point you in the right direction or coordinate with an A&P in our network.
